Interaction of Tantra is a one-of-a-kind artist book self-published by Susan Mills.  The book references Josef Albers' 1963 textbook Interaction of Color and the anonymous abstract Tantric paintings from Rajasthan, India, collected by French poet Frank André Jamme.  

Mills current work addresses iconic artist books by men.

Susan Mills is based in Cape Breton, NS and currently lives in  Saskatoon.  A visual artist, she works entirely in artist book form.  Her artist books are handmade and self-published in small editions - sometimes an edition of one - and are collected internationally.  Susan initiated and hosts the biweekly podcast series Bookbinding Now. She teaches book art at NSCAD University and bookbinding workshops at Creative Commons YXE.
